Textiles in the USA

Bouckaert Industrial Textiles (B.I.T) is proud to make industrial fabrics at our facility in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
Our wool and synthetic felts are used for horse saddle pads, automotive seals and gaskets, undercarpet pads and numerous other products.  I will provide detailed information on the different types of felt and their uses in future posts.
B.I.T. has control over the raw material (wool and synthetic) used in our various textiles.  Our "pre-consumer" recycled fiber stays out of the landfill and is processed to make new material.
"Pre-consumer" fiber means that it has never been used; it is the scrap left over from carpet and clothing manufacturing.
So, in addition to being Made in America, our textile manufacturing reducing the waste stream from landfills nationwide.
